The Solar Farm Forecast provides worldwide 1/4-hourly forecast data of solar power for up to 14 days in advance.

Our standard data processing
The location forecast is interpolated on the basis of EWC's MOS-driven forecast system. A Clear Sky Model and the production via the global irradiation forecast complement the forecast. Losses due to clouds and snow are individually considered and adapted to the altitude of the solar plant location. The forecast accurancy is improved by incorporating solar farm-specific live power generation data provided by the customer.

- Hourly updates for the next 12 hours
- Up to four updates per day for the next 14 days
- 15-minute resolution

EWC uses the following database
The Solar Power Forecast is based on weather forecast data of EWC's MOS system (Model Output Statistics), data of the solar angle, location parameters, inclination and orientation as well as measurements and productivity of solar plants.
